“This isn’t just a conversation about postpartum anxiety–it’s a call to action for better care, better policies, and better systems.”

Grateful to share my story (and first-ever podcast!) on the I Am One podcast by Postpartum Support International: https://lnkd.in/gBdX9Qqy

We talk about:

  • The support that kept my postpartum anxiety from bubbling up into crisis.

  • The real reason I created www.nancygohkelly.com.

  • My favorite parenting hack (bonus: also great for endurance runners!).

  • The power moms have to hold systems accountable–their employer, OB, and elected official–and demand better for the next mom.

This wasn't an easy conversation, and I left with a serious vulnerability hangover.

But I did it, because if it gives even 1 mom hope in the thick of it, it's 100% worth it. To help her find the support she deserves to feel like herself again. And to remind her it's not her fault early motherhood is hard.

It's the system's fault.

Huge thanks to hosts Dani Giddens and Emily Jankowski Newton for their magic in turning hard experiences into real talk that educates, inspires, and heals.
