Minneapolis Crisis Nursery wraps families in compassion

✨ Relief. Rested. Rejuvenated. ✨
That’s how moms described the gift of support they received from Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery at the Formula for Hope luncheon today.
Crisis Nursery wraps families in compassion. It offers free, safe, judgment-free overnight care for children–so parents can get through a mental health crisis, housing issue, or just take a break to care for themselves.
What expanded my view today:
🌟 Crisis Nursery served 5,000+ families last year.
🌟 Early intervention prevents future crises AND builds stronger generations.
🌟 Crisis Nursery doesn’t just offer beds–it builds trust while providing a lifeline, nourishment, healing, and hope.
🌟 Every child needs 4 safe adults in their life to thrive.
The most powerful moment was hearing from Victoria, a mom who broke generational cycles by asking for help. Today, she’s thriving–and so is her son.
Last week, I volunteered for breakfast and saw this work firsthand. This is the kind of support, dignity, and respect ALL moms deserve. And we need more of it.
