Joining Delfina as Director of Partnerships
I’m ready to build a system that truly cares for new moms | 3 min read
3 years ago today, I left my job when my daughter was 9 months old. That break was a gift–to be more present for her, care for myself, and rest. That’s when I found my purpose: to build better for new moms.
As a 2X postpartum anxiety survivor, local coordinator for Postpartum Support International, and Chamber of Mothers community leader, I’ve seen too many moms suffer in their transition to motherhood:
- Grieving an unexpected birth story, complication, or pregnancy loss made harder by gaps in care
- Feeling dismissed or told ‘you’re fine’ in a system that was never built with them in mind
- Overloaded by info that fuels anxiety and stress
And all of this is completely preventable.
That’s why I’m thrilled to join Delfina as Director of Partnerships.
I discovered Delfina on a podcast about AI in healthcare and was struck by how it can transform maternity care. It:
🌟 Wraps moms in whole-person care (doulas, therapists, lactation consultants, nutritionists)
🌟 Empowers moms with data to advocate for themselves and build healthy habits
🌟 Equips OBs with insights to predict risk early and focus on what matters
🌟 Connects data across patients, devices, EHRs, and claims to prove the ROI of prevention
Delfina shifts prenatal care from reacting to crisis to preventing it. It’s an entire system that delivers tailored, culturally responsive care that's more in touch with the realities of ALL moms.
So grateful to Founder Senan Ebrahim and VP of Health Plan Sales George Foley for this opportunity—and to friends, family, and advocates who supported me on this path.
Excited to join the pod and deliver the trusted, holistic experience every new mom deserves 🐬🚀
