Black and brown women are 2-3X more likely to die from pregnancy complications than white women.
1 in 3 counties are maternity deserts
This crisis isn’t a mom problem. It’s a system problem.
That’s why this year mattered. Leaders across the system stepped 👏 up 👏 for new moms: Policymakers. Innovators. Researchers. Non-profits. Frontline workers. Advocates.
